Science Week

We had a very busy week for Science Week. We learned the importance of electricity on Monday! Once we got back to school and normality on Tuesday, the students in Tynagh discussed what it means to be human in today's world, which was the theme of Science Week. We discussed Artifical Intelligence and explored the Quick Draw! programme on Google. We looked at ChatGPT and AI art generators.
Later in the week our junior classes explored making lava lamps and fizzing colours. Our seniors classes took part in the Science Week Live streams from Microsoft's Dream Space.
We finished the week using our critical thinking skills to explore the range of activities Ms Nugent generously brought into school. These included Hot Wires, Marble Run, 3D Connect 4 and Magna-Tile Cars. The students had great fun. Take a look at our photos below.
